Tough End String Band

Anthony Viselli (mandolin, fiddle) and Sam Furth (guitar) had been performing in an Orono brewpub for several years as the “Olde Time Machine” when Paul Riechmann (bass) joined them in 2014. Two years later they recruited Ryu Mitsuhashi as the fiddle player and formed Tough End String Band. In its six years, the band has played at multiple venues, festivals, and private events throughout Maine and recorded three albums. Ryu is visiting family in Japan and will miss this December 9th show, but Anthony, Sam, and Paul are looking forward to performing in their long-established trio configuration.
