About The Event
The Casco Bay Tummlers are well known for inspiring and soulful performances that range from traditional klezmer to related roots genres along with original music that stretches those boundaries.Jamie Saft is a virtuoso pianist, keyboardist, producer, and composer. He as been featured in these roles with Beastie Boys, The B-52s, John Zorn, John Adams and Iggy Pop to name just a few. Saft leads the New Zion Trio, Jamie Saft Trio, and Jamie Saft Quartet and has collaborated with legends of music that have included Wadada Leo Smith, Roswell Rudd, Dave Liebman, Bobby Previte and Steve Swallow.This show will be our third collaboration - the first two were very enthusiastic received (and sold-out) shows and we're excited to bring this energy to Cadenza!
