Isabel Oliart and Sammy Wetstein

Isabel Oliart is a Boston based fiddler with a career spanning between the worlds of Classical and Celtic fiddle music. She graduated from New England Conservatory in 2019 with her Bachelors and from Boston University in 2024 with a Masters Degree in Violin Performance, where she also won the Bach Competition. She won the National Scottish Fiddle Championship in 2025 and has also been a first-place winner of the New Hampshire Highland Games Fiddle Competition (2023), and the Scottish F.I.R.E. Composition Competition (2021). Isabel’s music has been featured on GBH’s A Celtic Sojourn and on NPR’s Says You. She has performed at the Rockport Celtic Festival, Groton Hill Music Center, BCM fest, the Burren, Club Passim, the Loon Mountain Highland Games, and numerous other venues across New England.
